Today was pump start day. The training lasted about two hours. My pump trainer told me I may have been the most prepared she'd had before. I thought I had just followed the instructions for preparation, but I guess I was more than just prepared.

We went through a lot of material in a relatively short amount of time. I feel like I have a grasp of most of what's going on with the pump (especially since it's life and death).

I think some of my settings will need to be tweaked when I go back to the doctor on Thursday. I'll also be interested to see my after-meal numbers as well as in the morning tomorrow. I'm also supposed to check my BG at 12:00am, 3:00am, and 7:00am for the first few days.
