Well...it's been a week since my last post...sorry

It's been a hectic week. Long story short: trip to NC, my new NRSV Bible arrived, Deacons' Meeting last night, Saints Alive Choir sang for XYZ meeting today, CBF of Ga folks came to staff meeting to do some initial planning for our hosting the fall convocation.

This Saturday is our church's Operation Helping Hand in which 305 (as of today) members of the church will be going out and doing one-day projects all across Griffin and Spalding County. There will be 42 different projects that we'll be doing. I'm going to be handing out information about diabetes at a health fair that's part of a neighborhood block party in north Griffin. I think it'll be a really great opportunity for our church.

The pump has been working well. I seem to have a little problem with bubbles in the reservoir as it's finishing. They, of course, affects the minute doses that are given.

I'm watching American Idol right now after a huge blow-out win at trivia night. I haven't seen all of it yet, so I won't be making any predictions at this point.
